How Does the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Loan Work?

The loan is not handed over in one payment. It is released in tranches (installments) linked to the stages of construction — for example, the foundation stage, the walls/structure stage and the roof/finishing stage — so that the money is used only for building the house.
