The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore will open applications for UHS Reserved BDS Seats 2026-27 in the public sector dental colleges of Punjab. Under the same reserved seats policy that was notified on 14 October 2026, a total of 38 BDS seats are reserved for students from ICT (Islamabad), Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, the ex-FATA districts and HEC categories.
Unlike the MBBS reserved seats — whose applications were taken in October/November — the BDS reserved seats have a separate portal and a separate schedule: applications will be received online from 14 December 2026 to 28 December 2026 at publicbds.uhs.edu.pk. Candidates who want a BDS seat in a Punjab government dental college on quota should prepare their documents now and apply as soon as the portal opens.

Who Can Apply for UHS Reserved BDS Seats?
These 38 seats are only for candidates who belong to the regions and categories named in the UHS policy. Students with a Punjab domicile compete on open merit and are not eligible for these reserved seats. Gilgit-Baltistan holds 5 of the 38 BDS reserved seats, and the remaining seats are distributed among ICT, AJK, Balochistan, ex-FATA districts and HEC categories — the complete category-wise distribution is given in the official UHS notice, so read it carefully for your own category. Merit will be calculated within each category with the standard aggregate formula: 50% MDCAT, 40% FSc (Pre-Medical) and 10% Matric. Only candidates who have qualified the MDCAT with at least the BDS passing marks (50%) can be considered.
How to Apply for UHS Reserved BDS Seats 2026-27
The portal opens on 14 December 2026. Follow these steps when it opens:
- Visit the official UHS BDS admission portal at publicbds.uhs.edu.pk.
- Create your account and log in using your correct CNIC and personal details.

- Submit the application before 28 December 2026 and keep a printed or saved copy of the submitted form.

Important Notes
- The BDS reserved seats schedule is completely separate from the MBBS schedule. MBBS reserved seat applications (through publicmbbs.uhs.edu.pk) were taken earlier and closed on 9 November 2026 — details are in our UHS Reserved MBBS Seats 2026-27 post. Do not confuse the two portals.
- Applications are accepted online only. There is no manual or agent-based method.
- Unlimited Jobs never charges any fee for admissions information. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay.
- Students concerned about expenses should also read the Honhaar Scholarship 2026 post — it covers 100% tuition fee for eligible Punjab-domicile students.
- Confirm all dates on the official UHS website https://uhs.edu.pk before applying, because UHS may issue revised notifications.
Conclusion
UHS Reserved BDS Seats 2026-27 give students from ICT, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and ex-FATA a dedicated route into Punjab’s government dental colleges. The window is short — only 14 to 28 December 2026 — so prepare your domicile, result cards and documents in advance and apply in the first days when the portal opens. Keep visiting Unlimited Jobs for the provisional merit list update in January 2027.
